Then you’ve come to the right place! I was planning to travel to Venice for holiday from Croatia, but since this was my first trip to Italy, I also wanted to do some sightseeing. I didn’t have a lot of time – so I decided to learn Italian online. But there were one problem. Most of the free Italian lessons online did not have any audio clips, making it impossible to learn the correct Italian pronunciation, and most of the Italian software programs are just too expensive.
As I hop from one Italian software demo to the next I found something very interesting. They don’t all teach Italian the same way and some even teach Italian words and phrases that I’ll never use while in Italy.
So I’ve decided to create my own list of common Italian phrases, and I’ve paid a native Italian who lives in Italy to record the phrases for me. These lessons are now available for free at www.audibleitalian.com.
I’ve also added my Italian software reviews so that you can see what I liked and didn’t like about each Italian course I’ve tried.
I’ve decided to evaluate them on the following criteria:
Usefulness – whether the vocabulary they teach would actually help you in an Italian-speaking situation
Clarity – whether the average student would understand the concepts being taught
Value – whether you’d be getting your money’s worth with this product
All the courses mentioned below have free demos on their websites, and I also researched them thoroughly on the Internet. At long last, I came to a decision about which program would best help you learn Italian online. Click the links below to read my Italian software reviews.
I recommend you try Rocket Italian if you really want to speak Italian fast, and don’t forget to access my free Italian phrases here.
