German is what you need. You'll quickly learn how to pronounce German words near fluently and
get your ears accustomed to spoken German.
What Do I Get With Pimsleur Digital German?
Pimsleur Digital German consists out of four phases each building on the previous one,
so it's advised to use them in sequence. If you've used Pimsleur before, you'll remember that they
don't provide you with the transcripts of the German conversations, making it a good course for
auditory leaners but a bad one for kinesthetic and visual learners.
With Pimsleur Digital German Phase 1 you'll receive 16 hours of spoken German
instruction in thirty 30-minute lessons. You'll also receive a reading booklet and user guide in
PDF format.
Pimsleur Digital German Phase 2 and Pimsleur Digital German Phase 3 are basically created in the same format as
Phase 1 and they all build on the previous lesson.
The last phase is called Pimsleur Digital Phase 4 which replace the older Pimsleur German
Plus course. These lessons are much faster than the first phases and will test your
knowledge of the previous lessons, and will give you around five hours of spoken German
instruction.
The Pros and Cons of Pimsleur Digital German
Pros: Auditory learners will love Pimsleur Digital German, very good
audio quality and will help you to speak and understand German fast.
Cons: Not a course we'll recommend to kinesthetic and visual learners, since
there are no transcripts of the conversations. No forum support, progress tracking, no learning
games, no written lessons.
Conclusion: This is a great course to practice spoken German, but if you are
looking for a course with more features that caters for all learning styles, you'll enjoy
