"I Struggled Learning Italian - So I Started Using Rocket Italian"

Hi, I'm Gerrit du Plessis, the founder of this language learning site. I've been trying out Rocket Italian Premium for the last couple of month's to see how well it work for me, and if it's really value for money. My wife and I were planning to visit Croatia for holiday and to also ferry over to Venice in Italy, since she was there before. I like traveling and enjoy interacting with the natives in their own language. So I've decided to try out Rocket Italian myself and rank it here so that you can make an informed decision before you spend your hard earned cash.

I liked the fact that you can purchase Rocket Italian's online version so you could begin to learn Italian online right away. I was also impressed with the many approaches you could use to learn Italian using this one multifaceted program. Auditory learners, who learn best by listening, will enjoy the amusing dialogues between Alessandro and Maria. You'll notice that the dialogues are much more than mere scripts to parrot.

Rocket Italian gave you the opportunity to change the dialogues a bit, so you could see which parts of the sentences remained the same and which changed - how word endings changed with their corresponding parts of speech, and how new vocabulary words altered the original sentence. You'll enjoy the opportunity to play with the new words and phrases you'll learn. And you'll appreciated the fact that the dialogues were written out as well as spoken orally, so you could see the spelling of the words and begin to read Italian - which you'll be doing a lot of that on your trip!

But Rocket Italian is MUCH more than just dialogues. In addition to the 31 dialogues, Rocket Italian provides 31 language and culture lessons that will introduce you to the country you'd be visiting. You'll enjoy learning about the geography, food, and customs of Italy. But my favorite part of Rocket Italian was definitely the video games! There are three, each designed to help you strengthen a particular skill set.

MegaAudio trains your ear to the nuances of Italian as it's spoken on the street. MegaVerb helps with those tricky (and often annoying) verb conjugations. MegaVocab builds vocabulary fast. And best of all, these games aren't child's play - they're challenging and fun. You might have such a good time as you learn Italian online with Rocket Italian that you often doubt that you are really learning - until the program's self-tests prove you are.
