Learning Spanish like Crazy is totally audio-based, with no games to play or online exercises or quizzes. If you're a visual learner as I am, this would not be the program for you, though it would work well for those who enjoy audiobooks. The 30 lessons are relatively short - less than a half hour each - and are targeted toward those who want to learn colloquial Latin American Spanish. Fine for tourists - not so fine for students or businesspeople.

But as I see it, the real deficiency of Learning Spanish Like Crazy is its aim to teach everything there is to know about Spanish in 15 short hours. In an effort to appeal to the needs of every possible learner, too much vocabulary is introduced and then never used again - which means, in effect, that you immediately forget it. And Learning Spanish Like Crazy is a bit light on grammar and syntax compared to Rocket Spanish.
