Synergy Spanish is a somewhat odd (although intriguing) method to learn Spanish. The developer of Synergy Spanish insists that you will learn Spanish fast with his program, because you only have to learn 138 words in order to "get by" in any Spanish-speaking situation. He claims that it is all a matter of understanding the pattern of Spanish, and multiplying those 138 core words to build a working Spanish vocabulary.

Synergy Spanish's developer does not believe in focusing on grammar or syntax, feeling that concentrating too much on the mechanics of the language inhibits the flow of free expression. There are no learning forums with Synergy Spanish, just the developer's assurance that he will work with you for 90 days after purchase. There are no free demos. There is no audio interaction, and this program does not work on either iPods or phones.

Although this program comes as both a 12 CD package and a download version, this course will only teach you basic Spanish. If you only want to learn a few Spanish words, then you might enjoy this course. But if you want to speak Spanish confidently in any situation, then I would recommend you rather try Rocket Spanish for $32 more.
